SOMERVILLE

HISTORY

Somerville

In 2014, Chris Olsen, an animator and previz artist based in the UK, began work on his personal side project Somerville.  Skip to 2016 in Sydney, Australia and in his spare time he had built a proof of concept trailer, playable prototype and a small online presence from documenting the development process.  It was soon after this that ex-CEO and co-founder of Playdead, Dino Patti, and Chris began talks about the possibility of a collaboration.

 

JUMPSHIP

After Chris returned to the UK, he and Dino founded JUMPSHIP; an independent game studio based in Guildford, UK with the intent of building a team and realising the potential of the project with more to come.
